Dialup Services

The GatorLink Internet dialup service can be used to connect your home computer to the University network and the Internet. Through this service, you can access UF computer accounts, check your email, or access other computers systems. Dialup is not a high-speed service.

For further details on campus dialup, please refer to Dial-up Access via GatorLink Account Only as of February 27, 2010

Dialup Charges

The Gatorlink dial-up service provides each user with 3600 minutes (60 hours) of local use.

Authorizing and Viewing Charges

Select Dialup Billing under the Modify command at the GatorLink home page to authorize use of dialup service or remove authorization for dialup.

Your dialup status is available by selecting the Modify option on the GatorLink home page, logging in, and selecting Account status, from the modification menu. An itemized dialup listing is available at the GatorLink Dialup Charges and Detail web page.
