to connect to the GatorLink server...
The file structure of your computer is represented by the left window, while your file structure on the GatorLink server appears in the right window.
*There are three options on the Main menu, ASCII, Binary, and Auto. If you want to transfer a plain-text or .html file (not word-processed), then use the ASCII option. If you want to transfer a program file, a formatted file (created by a word processor) or an image file (.jpg or .gif files), use the Binary option. If you are unsure, use the Auto option. The Auto option should work most of the time. |
